The man with
pale green skin and a nail in his head was called Frankenstein by
everyone. His real name was Frankie even though it did not completely
match his features with his big head and a nail as supersized as a
one foot spike that was stuck in his head. Because of his features
he was basically left alone most of the time which was o.k. with him.
Most people thought his ideas were odd like how he loved to sleep in
graves and thinks the town should build a huge air conditioner to
keep the city below freezing and should have a huge shading system to
keep the sun out. “It's a miserably huge heater,” he would say.
One cool
afternoon Frankenstein was jogging to town to buy electricity with
$100 when a man in a car stopped beside him and declared,”You can
run easier with these new running shoes that just came out.”
Frankenstein thought that if he got to town faster he would not have
to worry about running out of electricity on the way. The man
said,”I will sell them to you for $20.” Frankenstein readily
agreed with the man's proposition and so bought the shoes. The man
left presently after. Later along the road two women were riding
bikes to town and hurriedly yelled back to him to walk instead of
wearing himself out by running. Soon afterward a man and women who
were selling drinks and ice cream came up the road. Frankenstein
decided to buy a minuscule sized drink and because of it bought two
sumo jugs of ice water for $60.
As Frankenstein came up the road to town he realized that he only had
$20 left to use to buy electricity. Frankenstein went into the
electric store and bought twenty dollars worth of electricity hoping
he could get home before it ran out. Frankenstein ran like a maniac
to get to his home after buying electricity. He even passed the two
women who were riding bikes though after some time the ice water
caught up with him and he could run no more. Frankenstein hopelessly
struggled on. Frankenstein was almost out of electricity and because
he knew that was a bad sign he sped up as though his life were on the
line. He made it to the edge of his land before he finally sank into
despair. He fell into his own filthy water fountain and died to only
leave a lifeless body behind. He is now thought of as a monster but
really he just was very bad at math.
Cody, I love your stories. I read through them so fast because I can't wait to find out how they end. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at your imagination! And at the end, the "just very bad at math" totally cracked me up! I REALLY enjoy your stories!!!
