A Small Piece Of Cheese

The crow was a terribly greedy fellow who had hired himself out as a Witch's crow in the Middle Ages for the payment of magical cheese.  The magical cheese had the power to change in size randomly for it became as small as a Mouse and as big as a Horse.  The Fox of the Hollow Tree was sneaky and because of it he became a conniving trickster who lived in the crows favorite hollow tree.
One midsummer morning the crow went to his favorite hollow tree to enjoy his breakfast of magical cheese when the Fox came out of his hole under the tree and questioned hungrily, "Where did you get cheese that smells so good?" The Crow who was safely sitting in the tree did not answer the Fox because he had heard of the Fox before and knew him to be a trickster. He did feel guilty for not sharing even a small piece with the Fox and did not fly away because of his curiosity in the Fox which sat at the bottom of the tree.
The Crow decided to eat the cheese and cawed loudly at the Fox as a rude gesture and swallowed the cheese whole. The fox leaped up at the rude bird and was astonished when black feathers flew everywhere and in the Crows place a massive block of cheese stood in the air and then dropped down with tremendous force smashing the him to the ground in a brutal ending.  The Witch who had been watching the Fox and the Crow because of her seeing stone cackled as the magical cheese turned once again into a small piece of cheese.
THE END
